    Hi All,

    When i am trying to copy a folder from my MAC to an External NTFS HDD it fails with the following error.

    The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items.

    I have checked the permissions on both source and destination folders and i have both Read/Write access.

    Does anyone have any idea to why this is happening? I am using NTFS for MAC v7.

    Joe

    Hello Joseph,

    Does error occur when you try to copy all files and folders or certain ones?

    Here is a link to Apple's Knowledge Base that describes a similar situation and gives the resolution.

    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1402

    Does you Mac meet the system requirements?

    Supported Operating Systems

    * Mac® OS X 10.4.6 Tiger and higher
    * Mac® OS X 10.5 Leopard and higher
    * Windows Vista (32Bit, 64Bit)
    * Windows XP Home Edition SP2
    * Windows XP Professional SP2 (32Bit, 64Bit)

    System Requirements

    * RAM: 128MB
    * Mac: CPU: PowerPC G4, G5* and x86 Intel
    * PowerPC G5 has not been tested for compatibility yet, but our driver is most likely to work flawlessly on it.
    * PC: CPU: Intel Pentium or compatible, 233 MHz or higher processor

    Hello!

    The problem cannot be solved by referring to the solution proposed by Paragon_Cisco. I cannot copy folders containing 2 or more files as well. Using Leopard in combination with NTFS for Mac 6.5, I never had similar problems.

    It is so sad, but Paragon seems to be unable to provide a solution... Sad...

    There is still no solution to the above-mentioned issue. When is the new version going to be released? Does anybody know?

    How long will it take before an update to NTFS for MAC v7 will be released?

    I cannot copy all my files to the hard disk because it doesn't work if the folders contain 2 and more files.

    Why does it take so long!?
