A search of the Forum for "DVD-RAM" gets zero hits, so here is the question:

Drive Backup™, version 9.0 Professional's documentation states there is no direct compatbility with DVD-RAM as a backup medium. Not only for the Professional version, but I can't see that any Drive Backup version is DVD-RAM compatible.

However, my OS is DVD-RAM compatible (through Nero InCD) and I would prefer saving to this, rather than DVD±RW (which is directly writable from the utility).

What is the best work-around to get the images or backups onto DVD-RAM medium?

    RonCam,

DVD-RAM is untested as a destination media. Have you tried creating a backup to a DVD-RAM disk? What was the result?

A work around would be creating the backup in another location first, then burn the image files to the DVD-RAM using Nero.
