what is the best rootkit tool for windows 7 x64

    hello, i was wondering what would be a good rootkit tool for windows 7x64 iv used unhackmenow but i believe it may not be compatable with windows 7 x64 even though it worked and found 17 sucpicios items i checked the items on the web and at a glnace they all seemed like microsoft windows files

    Hi there,
    Vista and Win7 x64 share the controversial kernel patch guard which makes life difficult for rootkits and a lot of antimalware applications. I think for the next 2 years, and considering the relatively small number of x64 versions, malware writers won't bother with x64. As an example Avira won't scan for rootkits on Vista x64 (at least on my machine).
    As for your title question I don't think there is as tool yet to scan Vista and Win7 x64 for rootkits.

    hmm, yea i was reading about the x64bit kernal. thats a real bummer. i use all 6GB of memory from time to time. not sure if i could get by limeted to 3.5gb
