For some reason, anti-virus signature update doesn't seem to be working. Refer to the image I attached. I'm using version 8.0.400.020 of ZAAV.
Also, I clean installed ZA with default settings so firewall shouldn't really be a problem.

Please disregard this thread. I forgot that I was using IE with proxy.

I currently have 3 systems with this same error.
None of them have had any changes except security updates and they were working fine yesterday.
Could you explain please how you fixed your issue?
Nothing that I have done has restored the ability to update the program.
I have ZA Pro on all of my systems and the program and spyware will not update.
    Thank You.

ZA uses internet explorer to download its definition files, so see if you can connect to the internet using Internet Explorer.
I solved the problem simply connecting directly to the internet rather than connecting to the proxy server first. To disable proxy on IE, go to Tools -> internet options -> connection -> LAN settings -> and make sure that the last two boxes are unchecked.
Also, are you sure that you didn't configure firewall and program control settings?

    Thank you for your reply.
I can connect to the internet with IE with no problems and the boxes that you suggested are unchecked.
It is always possible that I could have done something to cause this issue on one of my systems that I work on, but the others were not used, only turned on.
I did get two replies from the Zonealarm forum, but they stated they are having similar problems connecting. (starting today)
I will wait and see tomorrow if I can connect.
Again, thank you for your reply.
