Attachments not in CP - but still displayed in post ?

I made a mess with my 3 image attachments - they were placed
automatically next to each other resulting in having to scroll to see
the last one. GlobalForce rightly called me to order and I fixed the
attachments BUT used tags. After saving I noticed that both the
'fixed' image attachments and the ill-placed original ones were shown
in my post. I then removed all the attachments in Manage Attachments
and was left with the 'fixed' images.
Strange that they still display but are not in CP as they were removed ?

How would I add a space between
Space bar will only do it once. [sp] code will do it but leaves the code showing.
Please advise so that my images will display better in future.

 

If horizantal is your desire, just remember it will more than likely blow the margin. If you are attempting the desired vertical way, simply select your PC's space bar until it is adequate and also presentable in a thread.

The pics are up and down, top to bottom, which equates to vertical

Correct me if wrong Ocky but is this the post where you did not like the attachment placement ?

I have used this to save websites (or part thereof) from time to time
in Windows XP and am pleased to see that it also resides in Ubuntu's
Synaptic. Having been tasked by my sister-in-law to 'make' a tutorial
for windows Photo Story 3, I decided to try it and it works perfectly in 
Linux. Has lots of options. A few shown in the screenshots..

Another possibility might be to include a centering syntax. 
Image width will determine whether you can show two images on the same line. Things can really get messy if you try to use both the left and right syntax codes for positioning. Here is the code for this sample.

Line 1=center tag 
Line 2= attach image 1  (3 dashes for separation) ---attach image 2
Line 3= add any text that you want centered above the 3rd image
Line 4=attach image 3
Line 5=closing center tag

Yes, that's the culprit. The space bar will only move cursor once... no matter
how many times it is hit, so the spacing is too narrow.
GroverH's method with centring displays a little better. I will keep it in mind for future image attachments. Thanks to all.
