I opened the new Acronis forum as announced. But there seems to be no way to register there. I tried my usual Acronis user name and password. Did not work and then I tried my Wildes user name and password. Did not work either. Do I have to open a support threat with Acronis to find out how to do?

Anyone with the same experince and a way out?

Please have a look at the instructions as provided on the Acronis Forum.

In case this does not solve your issue, please contact Acronis.

For the record: all issues concerning the new Acronis Forums should be addressed to Acronis.

Other then keeping our closed and soon to be archived closed Acronis (sub)forums read-only for obvious purposes, we do not provide specific Forum related assistance.

Acronis software issues in general can be discussed over on our "software & services" Forum as goes for all softwares not covered on other (sub)forums on this board.

That message from Acronis was sloppy. They did not even supply the proper URL. The URL was truncated. The proper one is:

    https://www.acronis.com/my/index.html

Acronis is very difficult to contact. You can only reach the via their ponderous support site. There is no simple way to contact them about logging in. My login failed again and now I am angry enough to remove Acronis from my system. I did send in a question, but don't expect a useful answer.

    Thanks for your help

Better still get "Clonezilla". It's free.
I had Acronis and will never use it again.
    Good kuck

I agree with you 100%. They are too difficult to contact. I have a simple question and for three days trying to contact them for no avail. Makes me want to get rid of them and their dammed product I purchased.

    Hello all,

You should be able to log in to new forums using your Acronis Account. Could you please check if you're able to log in with it on our main site?

You can use 'login remind' link in order to restore your password.

If you do not have account, you can create the new one using the link mentioned in this thread.

    Thanks,
    Michael

    Perhaps this can help.

    From the Acronis forum:

    My comments are:

Suggest you create a new shortcut icon on your desktop pointing to the new forum address. Acronis has not made it easy for people to find the forums when coming straight into the Acronis website

    New Forum address is: http://forum.acronis.com/

    Registrations is: https://www.acronis.com/my/index.html

When creating your user name for the forum, the edit function does not mention "nickname" as the name title. Be sure and get your user name as you want it before saving the initial change. You are not provided a second chance to correct your user name.

As indicated by the Support posting above, your "Nickname" (forum user name) can be changed by editing your "personal information" tab.

Also, you need to modify the time zone to your own preference before saving the changes.
