I'd like to be the first one to say thanks to everyone who has given their valuable time here on earth to help us all understand how to use every Acronis Image product you can think of. You've helped us all so much... We've learned, had debates, some got banned, some signed up with different usernames [lol], some owed money to the mob and got their arms chopped off so they're no longer with us... LOL! :) But in the end we all got down to one thing... Helping each other learn how to save our computers when there is no other option than the only last resort you have at your finger tips... ACRONIS!

It saved us... [Just saved my bacon the other day restoring my OS for the first time]

Many of us have important data that could be for business, family, work, science, charity, etc. & your tireless efforts to help us all have been outstanding. Some have insurance for their cars. All we have is some spare room on a hard drive for a TIB made by Acronis software. Without your help many of us would have gone to lessor apps like Norton Ghost, or worse. It isn't easy to understand imaging, but it is with a helping hand. Nowadays when you buy a pc you have two three things in mind. Which computer do I like best? What OS should I buy? & oh... GOTTA HAVE THAT ACRONIS, THROW IT IN THE BAG!

I hope every one of you that helped us all out here either find yourselves posting at the new Acronis forums, or stick to Wilders and head over to other areas.

On behalf of us all I'd like to say thanks to every member that contributed to the Acronis forum. In specific I'd like to personally take my hat off to Kolo, Seekforever, Mudcrab, and GroverH.

    Peace

    P.S.
Hope all of you other members can say a quick thanks to everyone too... Post your gratitude! Or funny memories of your times in need of recovery. Mine happened when I let my computer illiterate girlfriend use my pc. Got me a free virus over the web, and a one way ticket to these Acronis forums! LOL

    :D  :argh: :thumb:

I don't think that task could possibly be done quickly. :D
Too many to thank for too much info/help.
    But THANKS anyhow!

Quick note to add my thanks too. :thumb:

I see this move by Acronis as a real big negative for the user--I am sure that Acronis is planning to charge for all forms of support, including the forum soon to be under their control. :thumbd:

I wonder how long before the first unofficial forum appears?

If Acronis handles the new forum notification as well as they handle new update notifications, we'll all be dead and buried by the time the notice arrives.

Will any of the existing moderators be persuaded to move forward to the new support group wherever it is located?
They are the unsung stalwarts who spend countless hours keeping contributors and helpers in order. The judgement they show and the kindly way they nudge miscreants back into line has contributed in great measure to the sucess of this support forum.
