How to find version build

Grover Hatchers Beginners Guide recommends recording the version and serial number on the TI Rescue CD
Where do I find the version number? Is it shown as part of the file when downloaded?

Whoops someone posted this already, thanks in advance.

 

I believe what was suggested is to write the version number and build number on the CD. The serial number is 71 characters long so rather than writing it on the CD you might want to copy and paste it to a .txt file using Notepad and save the file to a safe location somewhere (perhaps a CD). Yes, the version and build number is indicated in the downloaded executable file name.

You can check the build number pressing ALT key while on the main window of the program then go to Help -> About.

You can always see the serial number for the product from your account under Registered Products. Please do the following to register your product if you haven’t done it already:

1. Choose "Product registration" here

2. Enter your serial number for your Acronis product in the corresponding field.
