If the one in your account doesn't work properly, then you'll need to get Acronis to provide you with a custom build that does. Once you have a working build, the procedure should work as the problem now seems to be in the Linux kernel rather than the booting process.

I did try the standard files from my DD 10 (2,160). It booted and the resolution changed okay, but it couldn't see my hard drives. The downloaded ISO's files could see my drives.

I downloaded the ISO for my ADD10 and will try it, thanks. In the meantime I've noticed that my USB stick w/ATI11 in "enhanced high resolution 1280x1024 mode" does not seem to be saving it's logs from session to session, which is why I was interested to enhance the rez in the first place (to easily read the logs it genned)!!! Argh! o_O

After booting from a CD or USB stick you can remove the USB stick and the software runs from RAM. The logs are probably being saved to RAMdisk.

I think that you will have to explicitly save the log somewhere else by clicking on the "save" button within the log view window.

Thanks Mark for your post--I'm sure you're right, I will look for a Save or Save As or maybe there's an option for setting the log location...
