I take it your poll is directed at the EU folks? In the USA daylight saving time (for those locations that observe it) begins on April 4.

Linux used to be fun (not for me, though), doing everything manually. Not so anymore, my linux desktop changed to summertime automatically. It looks almost like Windows now

 

LOL, Slammer, it really felt to me as if DST should have started today. But I have to wait another week. Your poll is a good reminder for everyone, though.

 

here where i live, there is no need a hassle for adjusting your clock

Man, Slammer, I'm glad you're over in Europe (I'm in the States) 'cuz after first reading your post I thought "Geez, I've really screwed up with the clock adjustment this time! It was last weekend!!"

But this will make me all the more sure to set my clocks forward this coming Saturday night!

I set my clocks back last night since I had this thread in mind for the last week, although in the morning I turned off the alarm and went back to sleep.

Since I synch my clock online once or twice a month (just about every system I've ever owned gains about a minute a month), the computer's "official" time for anything else in the house that needs reset.

I miss 98SE's reminder-popup that the change to Daylight had been looked after, the first bootup after the scheduled change. XP simply changes the time quietly behind the scenes without saying a word, and I have to double-check that it's been done.

I realize my reply's a little late, but yes, I did reset those chronopieces at the appropriate time! Thanks for your concern, slammer!!

 

I usually start 8 or 9pm and leave one clock at old time.
