Foxit Reader is very good. Lots of features. I tried PDF-XChange Viewer for awhile, but it wasn't real stable for some reason... some of the features weren't working properly for me. But I highly recommend Foxit Reader. :thumb:

I don't know much about Foxit, but I know there have been vulnerabilities in the past. Example: http://secunia.com/advisories/34036/

I don't know about any current vulnerabilities.

It's always something with the Acrobat Reader. I'm currently on version 8, javascript disabled. I can't keep going on installing patches, new versions. I keep it as it is.
I just accept that it's a vulnerable application, and take that in consideration.

A bit the same for Flash. I may just decide to remove it completely. :thumbd:

I run Foxit Reader as an Untrusted Application inside GeSWall, so it's all isolated on access. Hopefully that covers any present or future vulnerabilities. If not, then I'll have to rely on my other layers. :)

Is there a credible source for that? What about security updates?

My favorite is PDF Xchange Viewer. Foxit is lighter than pdf xchange viewer but, pdf xchange viewer has better quality. Both are less bloated and faster than Adobe. Sumatra is the lightest but has the least quality of them all IMO.
