LNS 2.06p4 and KB951748

    Greetings,

    I am currently using LNS 2.06 under Windows XP Home.
    I have not yet installed Microsoft update KB951748.
    If I were to upgrade (from LNS 2.06) to LNS 2.06p4, would KB951748 still be an issue?

    Both "Standard" and "Enhanced" rulesets contain a rule to mitigate kb951748 issue.

    Yes, but only for a fresh installation.

    When doing an update, existing rulesets are not updated (because the user may have changed them).

    So, even if you update first to 2.06p4, you still need to import the additional DNS rule mentioned here:
