Just one thing that I'm curious about DW... why did it leave all traces and so on when I for example tested installing Hotbar? Running SAS it detected traces in all kinds of directories. :doubt: I must've clicked to terminate untrusted applications afterall. Is it very different from a sandbox?

DefenseWall HIPS is a policy management HIPS. It will keep all internet facing software and their download in a stronger than LUA environment. This means that user space active X and Browser helpers are allowed to install, because DW granst the user full and transparent usage of their internet facing aps.

Simply adding WinPatrol or any other light HIPS which looks at Active X, BHO and plug ins, will keep you protected from nuisance-ware.

    regards Kees

dont forget DW is a policy base sandbox and not a full sandbox like sandboxie, but we have a feature that can also flash the toilet in case of clean up and that is the rollback function:thumb: just hunt down the files and delete it,very easy indeed "no traces if you want''

Removing GW and TF. TF too noisy, GW not convenient in some ways.

Testing and learning DefenseWall, putting back Panda Cloud Antivirus.
