I wouldn't have classed mIRC as an IM; it's more of an IRC program although you can chat one-to-one using it through private messaging once you're on a server.

 

GTalk - also includes my mail. My Hotmail on the other hand is kinda my "crap-mail", so I never bother about it. Many people on MSN/WLM, but when installing now it would make a certain folder related to search or so start everytime Windows starts. Tried to search for a fix to it, but didn't want to bother anymore as it shouldn't really happen at all.

I'm more of a forum-person anyway.

Yup..Pidgin or Kopete. Most of the popular *nix distros already have one or the other.

 

Theres AMSN. Its similar to WLM.

 

I usually use MSN live messenger because the video chat works well.

Well, all of my friends (and girlfriends LOL) use WLM, so I'm using it for the compatibility reasons. It's a bloatee I know, but what the hell...

I also used to have an ICQ account, but haven't used it in ages.

I only use Windows Live Messenger (+ Messenger Plus! Live with scripts NudgeTools and TypingInvisible).
