    Hi, Mike.
Good to see you're still working so hard.
I'm going to try the newest on XP Pro until I get my W7 disc.
When will OA be available for W7 & 64bit?
The seem to be an awful lot of people looking for this(64bit).
    Thanks.

I thought people have been saying it's more secure?

Not sure at the moment. If there is, we will certainly let people know.

64bit Windows is more secure... as long as Malware writers think "That's a pretty limited market for my creatures". :doubt:

    We just released :)

Working on release notes now, and will announce properly once completed.

OA Free, Premium and ++ are available for download from our site. Download.com will take a few days as usual.

Thanks Mike, it really is very good. Much lighter than my previous combo of A2 and OA Premium but still excellent protection. Constant scanning and rescanning of known safe files a thing of the past!

Only issue is the price ($69.00) would be prohibitive fo me anyway, are upgrade deals available for existing OA customers?

    Thanks

For any OA purchase of any product for the next 2 days, the code: TALL-3YVB-TWIT can be used on RegNOW checkout to grab a 25% discount.

Existing users of OA may upgrade simply by paying the difference between the desired ++ licence and their current OA licence using Paypal.

    Cheers

Hi Mike, thanks for the info and generous offer . I look at the official Tallemu website but I cannot find an upgrade button or link for existing customers.

    Hi,

We did the release yesterday and started to look at Win7 today. We have a Win7 version working now 95% with a few glitches so not bad for the first day's effort.

    I think we'll punch out a win7 beta soon.

I installed this beta, and it seems very nice. I've run OA free in the past and liked it. I don't know much about the a-squared/Ikarus scanning engine. How does it compare to some of the top tier antivirus and or antimalware software?

The testing at Malware Research Group puts a-squared at the top of the heap:

Hi DarrylW. Sorry I didn't respond earlier. Thanks for the reply and the link. a-squared looks very impressive. So far I like OA++. It runs very light, and that is one of my main criteria in a security software, besides good detection of course.

Just a quick update on Win7 - internal test results are rather positive - but a picture paints a thousand words :)

The current status is that it's mostly working now, save for a security center recognition bug that we've pretty much nailed for the next build. If it checks out, we'll load it up for playtime for anyone interested.

I must agree, OA++ looks excellent, using the trial version for few days now and everything looks perfect, job well done to TallEmu and Emsi:thumb:

I have another question. Is there a log file somewhere that shows what was scanned after a full system scan? I can't find anything in the OA++ GUI. I also looked in Program Files>Tall Emu>Online Armor, but couldn't find anything listed for scanning logs.

Nope, no scan logs on the horizon. :p
I hope this will be added soon, as it's a must have for every AV (IMHO).

    Cheers
