is there any option to choose file type (extension) to scan (both in manual scan and realtime)?

Haven't heard about this problem before. Which OS and IE version are you running?

    Same even after you reboot?

I personally don't like scheduled scans at all so I never even looked at this feature myself. I'll make a bug-report though.

Hmm... can't reproduce, CPU doesn't go above 25% for me when doing a full scan. Anyone else seeing this too?

In real-time no. In manual scan you can select to only scan recommended file type or all files.

Running XP SP3 and IE 8.0. Already filed a report through the regular channel which Tomi J has confirmed and will look into.

I may have missed it, but is there a target date for putting it on the FS site for sale?

    Thanks,
    Jerry

Many thanks, Jeff. Hope all is going well with you and yours.

It seems that in years past there were some special offers for various AVs, but I have not seen one lately.

    Regards,
    Jerry

o_O One more question. Maybe someone can tell me what I'm missing as it should be simple. I can't get ISTP to allow my phone to sync with the Windows Mobile Device Center unless I unload it. There must be a setting I'm missing.

    See if this helps.

    - Connect the phone
    - Open up the ISTP GUI
    - Click on "Advanced Settings"
    - Click on "Network Connections"
    - Click on the tab "Settings"
    - Add the Windows Mobile NIC (can't remember its name) as a "Trusted Network Adapter"

    Does it work now?

Thank you Patrik. Worked like a charm. Knew it had to be a simple setting, I just couldn't find it.

Looks very promising, i've never tried F-Secure products before besides Blacklight so i will definitely trial the new Internet Security suite when it's made public.

I hope they fix their site and showcase the products better, it would be a shame to make a killer security suite and bomb conversions on the front end like that.

yes, which doesnt make me happy.

and the reason I say that is, the F-Secure team has no reason for not creating their own. They created DeepGuard and Blacklight which are at the tops as far as achievement. They need to produce their own AV.

maybe they will in the future. I heard why they went away from Kaspersky so I wouldn't be surprised ;)

I was hoping they would create their own AV as well.
