Anonymous free Email services

What is the best free disposable or Anonymous email address service to use that will delete your email address after a period of time and leave little or no trace?

I have heard about noclickemail.com which creates a temporary email address then deletes it and it doesn't require your browser to accept cookies or have javascript enabled.

I have also heard about mytrashmail.com but when i send an email there i didn't receive it until 4 hours later.

i couldn't even signup to anonymousspeech.com using tor and javascript and cookies disabled.

i think gmail disabled signups for people using tor.

 

It would be difficult for me to trust any of them. I use Xerobank, and when I register for a forum, group, or social networking account, I use a different email address for each one. And I never use it to communicate outside of that account. And I never connect without Xerobank.

I have been meaning to create an xeromail account but I just haven't taklen the time yet.

But if you open a gmail account and connect through a proxy, my guess is that would be as anonymous as any of those services that you mentioned.

 

I like Guerrillamail but I dont know if they work with tor and of course I dont know how long they keep logs for, although if you are using tor that does not matter that much.

 

It’s not free, but personally I use Nyms when I need a disposable email address to avoid spam. Unlike many other anonymous email services, Nyms allows you to view and to reply to anonymous emails from your primary (real) email account. In other words, the emails sent to the anonymous address arrive in your primary email inbox; and if you reply to those messages, the recipient sees only the anonymous email address (and not your actual email address). This is much more convenient than having to manage yet another email inbox, which is required by many other anonymous email services.

In addition, the user can enable/disable/auto-expire any of the Nyms email address created.

 

I really like YOPmail. No logins, nothing. Doesn't strip your IP but if you just need a disposable email address to pickup messages, I think it is great. For anonymous mail I really like mailvault, but I think it has extreme stability issues.

 

i would go with safe-mail.net they are located in Isreal and use high end encryption as well you can delete the account when ever you want and you can sign in using tor and you dont need to allow cookies and it works with every browser i have tried.i think its awsome.if you are looking for some secure and disposable its the best as far as i am concerned.i used to like hushmail until i found out they were co-operating with the fbi that is why switched to safe-mail.net

 

I think Safe-mail.net could be a great email service, they have some unique features, such as signing through webmail with your own digital certificate. Unfortunately Safe-mail.net insists on using the poster IP on the headers and this is the single reason why I do not use them.

PRIVACY:.... Please note that your Internet Protocol address is transmitted with each message sent from your account...

 

but it doesn't matter if they transmit your ip if you are using tor or a secure vpn.your point is moot.the only ip the recepient will see is the one your vpn or tor is using at the time you send.

 

Steve, can you have multiple XeroMail accounts/alias'/mailboxes from one XB account? I was able to add another alias, but it disabled the use of my first one.

Im about at the end of my trial, but unlimited XM accounts would cement the deal, preferably separate mailboxes.

 

I think it is a matter of principle, I see no reason why Safe-mail should insist on transmitting my home IP, a security company should understand the implications of this. I send an email to somebody, they don't like it, they get upset, they find out my IP and try to hack me, harass me, etc...

So now in order to use Safe-Mail with privacy I need to do it through a VPN because they could not hide my IP in the first place. No thank you, I may as well use Hotmail through a VPN or tor then.

 

Yes i used that one for quite a while also it's quite good so is their rDNS service, however i ended up setting up my own so i could ensure regular log pruning, IP transmition of my server and not mine and Whoisguard on my domain associated with the email address.

If you have a server, it's worth setting one up. I used the temp mail script from gentlesource.com and modified it to suit.

 

"Anonymous email" that includes your IP address is hardly "anonymous", in fact it's not even private. You're "return address" is right there on the envelope for all to see. Might as well use Yahoo, Gmail, etc.
