Hello PegM_4 and welcome to the forums :)

No, x64 compatibility will be available at some point in the V3x series...

Don't bother making 64bit for XP and Vista.

Its more important to make 64bit For windows 7 when it comes out. I am tired of being restricted to only 4GB of Ram.

and Returnil running in memory option would work better with more Ram Right?
so I hope there is going to be 64 bit for windows 7 when it comes out?

    Hello arran,
When x64 compatibility is introduced it will be valid for all supported OS's except XP. IOW, XP will remain x32 only...

I use Returnil on my XP computer. I will be soooo happy to have it on my newer Vista 64 bit. I hope it happens soon. I hate not having it.

I will be moving all 3 of my computers to Windows7 x64. Hence I will be giving up Returnil. I am sure that there will be quite a few just like me.

I already run Win7 RC1 on my main desktop and I really like it. You have to think that most of those adopting Windows 7, and there will be quite a lot, will be choosing the 64bit version. Most hardware is now 64bit and the 64bit OS will be more mainstream. I fear Returnil will lose a big portion of their base as users will have to choose Returnil or a shiny new Windows version.

    Hello edbro,
Don't be so quick to jump ship just yet. Version 3 is still a beta but we plan to support more OS versions including Win 7 and 64-bit. Stay tuned and have faith - much testing and proving to do yet ;)

I for one am waiting patiently. I am very happy to know that I will be able to install on my 64 bit Vista.

I'm not jumping ship. Once you introduce Win 7 64bit, I'll be back. I still own 2 licenses. I'm just saying that you run the risk of people forgetting Returnil after getting Win7 and then not coming back.

We are covering the Win 7 "gap" at the moment with the LAB version which is based on the 2x generation. It is only compatible though with the 32-bit version, but it does offer an effective alternative for current 2x license holders who have upgraded to that OS.
