Does Nod32 Antivirus hates OP Firewall?

    Windows XP Pro w/SP3
    IE6
    AV: Nod32 Build 4.0.437.0
    Firewall: Outpost Firewall Pro 2009 Lifetime License
    AntiSpywares : Spybot - Search & Destroy Free
    SUPERAntiSpyware Professional Lifetime License
    Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Free


    This is my first scan log file, why Nod32 Antivirus marks as error and unknown compression method the OP 2009 installer?

    What does » INNO » meano_Oo_Oo_O?

    Is this the way Nod32 deals with Overcompressed fileso_O??

    I have tried several AV’s, this is the first time I see this error in a scan log file, I am curios because OP is not a “Rare” programs… in fact OP is one of the best firewalls out there, and if the best AV in this case Nod32 can not open, It makes me fell I am not somehow protected..

    Simply the compression method used in that INNO installer is not supported, that's all. Not every packer and compression method is supported by AV programs. The archive module is not static and is continually being developed as well.

    although the source code for decompiling inno is open since several months and
    eset wasnt capable yet to upgrade - big SHAME on you - a hobby programmer
    was able to do that.

    I did not know OP used INNO Installer, and the INNO Installer is free and open source, now what I should do with these installers in order to know if the are clean and ok?
    And finally I do not want to see them in each scan log INNO » setup.data - error - unknown compression method for these installers, what do you suggest?

    btw why I have to have shame, is not my fault OP compress the installer with INNO? I can program, I just only need more information, but this take time and only want to scan for malware!!
