is there anyway to trick javascript scripts from revealing your real ip address? would it be possible to give javascript a fake ip address?

also if you use TOR and a javascript script is detecting your ip address, would it be able to go straight through TOR and find out your real ip address?

Yes, use a VPN. Then it doesn't have your real IP address to share.

javascript does not leak the ip behind the proxy or vpn. only java does if you allow it internet access through your firewall.

    Seems too complicated.

I have a dynamic IP and use a live Linux CD to get around these otherwise time consuming solutions.

I know that the IP could be traced by super agencies like the NSA but I only want protection from spammers and low life scum. :D

For most purposes this is enough.

Javascript executes on the browser, no VPN or proxy can protect you from that, it is you who needs to secure your browser.

If you use Firefox, get the Noscript plugin which will enable you to customize javascript rights for trusted sites only.

    NoScript Firefox plugin
