Already miss Malware Defender (used it for several weeks) but it was perhaps conflicting with one of my other security programs (before DefenseWall installed) and my system was moving at a snail's pace (last few days). Xiaolin provided several suggestions (including I had too much security, naw can't be that ). Reverting to a previous snapshot and restoring the default ruleset did not completely resolve my issues. Anyhow he gave me a complete refund. I hope to try this program again someday. It is a HIPS lover's dream come true. After trialing DefenseWall the past few days I think the ultimate security setup would be Firewall, AV, Malware Defender and DefenseWall. I don't think anything could crack that unless the user allows it (and would really have to go out of their way to allow it to).

 

Out of curiosity what custom blocking are you using with SpywareBlaster?

+Several on demand scanners. DefenseWall ran a bit slow with KAV 2010. I miss Malware Defender and may try again someday, but current setup runs extremely fast.

i have same problem here with any antivirus ,dont know whyonly prevx is fast here,even the scaner is fastgood job prevx

 

Just added Prevx as an on demand scanner. Helped me out on a friends computer with a nasty rootkit Great piece of software

I know some of those on demand apps aren't really security, but wanted to list them to see if anyone had any better suggestions and/or problems with any them.

SO, how does it look? My system seems to be running a lot faster than it was, mainly after using Defrag Express. Im assuming that was a big problem that evidently the windows defragger didn't do as good of a job when I used it.
