unknown application would like to connect to internet..

    hi guys,
    I found something funny today.when my computer was connecting to internet ,I got a dialog box:

    what is it? o_O
    Does anybody else get this dialog box?
    lns 2.06 p4 @win7 rc

    I have had a few unknown things in the list, but just delete them when I see them and check if they come back...they usually don`t so maybe remains of things I`ve tested previously ?

    I don`t know what that could be, but personally I would block it to begin with then see if anything breaks :doubt:

    I`ve never had that dialog box though.

    and do a full check for malware etc, just to be sure !

    Malware?:D I don't think so
    I removed it from the list,and it hasn't appeared yet..
    I am waiting for it:D

    I think,"system" may be a servise.It is not a app,it is a group.Maybe block it first of all.

    Yes, this is a system service, normally allowed by default.
    Don't know why it was given to the application for a popup to the user o_O

    Yes, it's anyway better to block any special behavior. And later just remove the application entry in the list, to see if it happens again.

    I get it very often, but I 'm not worried about it. I can only speak for myself, but I'm sure it's not malware.
