Anonymous Surfing software reviews

I'd like to know your opinions about the following anonymous software about protecting hiding IP address (through third-party applications), security and speed surfing:

1. Hide my IP 2009
2. Hide IP NG
3. Mask Surf Pro
4. E-Capsule Private Browser
5. Omniquad Anonymous Surfing
6. Anonymeister
7. XB Browser

Please, specify if one of them, don't work with IE.

1. , 2 and 5 basically just proxy apps that push your browser to the selected proxy, good for basic privacy. 3, 4 and 6 are basically nothing more than customized builds of firefox using the tor network, they are not worth paying for and should avoided, use 7, xbbroswers that free and is better build then these paid products. 5

 

Someone posted a link here, maybe a year or so ago, that used Java to bypass the proxy and reveal the true IP. I can't seem to find it, but I wonder if it would bypass 2 and 5?

Should we need Firefox to install and run XBrowser ?

 

Here is the link that I mentioned. It use to unmask Tor but I guess they fixed it.

But I plugged it into a simple free proxy and it was able to reveal the true IP.
