Now when I turn on my operating system I get the following message:
Acronis loader fatal error: boot drive (partition) not found. It instructs me to press enter to open the OS system - when I press enter I get this next message

    MBR Error 1

    Help, help, help....

I have a MusicXPC computor it comes configured with the latest hardwire drivers and software updates from the factory.

I was putting in some new Sonar software, but I uninstalled the old software and wanted to restore the physical drive to day one. I have Acronis True Image and obviously tried unsuccessfully to do ito_O

Computors - I love them when they work and I hate them (when I "operator" does something stupid to mess them up).

Please add acpi=off noapic parameter. To add the necessary parameter to Acronis Startup Recovery Manager please do the following:

    0. Deactivate Acronis Startup Recovery Manager first.

    1. Open f11.cfg file in the Notepad:
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\TrueImageHome\f11.cfg

    2. Find a line in this file: kernel kernel.dat quiet

    3. Change it to: kernel kernel.dat acpi=off noapic

    4. Save the changes and activate Acronis Startup Recovery Manager again.

Also, you can use Acronis Booting Rescue Media instead of Acronis Startup Recovery Manager, this will allow you to avoid the modifying of MBR.
