Failed to clone backup...

    TI 2009 on Vista Business. Backup consolidation set to 20 files. TI fails on the 21st backup with

    1 Information 6/7/2009 7:02:30 PM Operation Data started.
    2 Information 6/7/2009 7:02:35 PM Locking partition D:...
    3 Information 6/7/2009 7:02:36 PM Create Differential Backup Archive From: My Data To file: "D:\Images\Server\Data\Daily(13)4.tib" Compression: Normal Exclude: Files matching mask Match criterion: *.~, *.tmp, *.tib
    4 Information 6/7/2009 7:04:11 PM Consolidate Backup Archive Location: "D:\Images\Server\Data\Daily(14).tib" Destination: "D:\Images\Server\Data\Daily(14)_1D357A83-7EC3-4912-BC74-669A7624EB25.tib"
    5 Error 6/7/2009 7:04:11 PM Failed to clone backup. Either the backup is corrupted or unable to write data.
    The file is corrupted. (0x4000D)

    If I set the limit to 30 files, the 21st backup succeeds. Win XP Pro does not have this problem.

    I think the subject heading is confusing to readers, hence the lack of response. What are you trying to do?

    The thread title comes from an error mesage. I'm using Automatic consolidation to limit the number of files. This works fine in XP. In Vista Business, it chokes with the above error messages. I moved to TI 2009 because the previous version's backup locations frequently didn't work.
