I only need this one PC that has ports open. Yes I know that RIS has that feature comparing both AntiHook HIPS on system and PrevX Business on the other. But I am finding that RIS and RPCDOC are doing there jobs protecting the system. GesWall for added security for FireFox.

The Rising Password is very important, you should create one to protect you, pc and software

Joining the Rising Cloud Security users in a way helps as if you have something I don't have or I have you can let Rising know. I've sent them a bunch of stuff so far. On there site they got it so you can zip up the malware, virus, trojan, worm an etc.. and send the entire file to them.

In this software you can send possible malware, potentially dangerous sites and scan report results to them as well.

That's it for us then. I tried to install the one I had mentioned it's only in Chinese no English.

Other than that everything is working smoothly.. Ran full Scans at night and set it to shutdown the system.
So many updates though from Rising RIS 21.29.14.00 as of today...

Sent off another malware one to Rising called: UNITYDOMAINLOAD.EXE into a zip file though. I hope they can add it to the every growing list of threats.. Mix info on this file. Malware.

Heard back from Rising last week the file in the prior post wasn't malware. I had used SAS it found it as malware. Anyway without the file on the system the application still runs.

I've seen that the RIS is now up to 21.30.14.00 and RPCDOC is 6.0.0.25. I had tried to installed PrevX CS Business onto server it did installed and scan the RIS protected system and didn't find anything. Then all of a sudden RIS blocked the program saying one of it's modules in PrevX as being malware. It not only blocked it, but it remove the PrevX from the system tray. Wow! Okay then I had uninstall the PrevX out. RIS is managing the system.

I've tried also to make some list (import) from Net Monitor>Rule Setup>Blacklist but it only manages ".fwr" format lists. You can export your own lists or enter the IP's manually, but......from a little non extensive list.

I don't think Blacklist and Whitelist are for manage wide IP's lists, these are the most for manage some single IP's.

For manage IP's lists, I like (and I'm using it) a more specific application, PeerGuardian is one (still in betas developement) that runs under XP and Vista. With it it's easy to download, update, create, enable/disable, IP's lists or single IP's, from Bluetack, Peerguardian or other sources.

There is a more stable version of PG2 just to to their site and pull it down. Use the current build for Vista only as it will work on XP.I only use PG2 on one system only! It updates and everything. I'll check by email today with Rising and see if they can give us a way to do the same thing with Rising 2009 Free.

I'm trying Rising Internet Security, no too bad, but I tried Comodo Leak test - with all RIS levels setted " high " - and it did 100/340 scores. :(

Are you sure? I ran that test I didn't see any issues! This system is well protected Did you download the extra tools for RIS?
I've test most of what I use and so far its blocked a lot of things none of the other could. Again no suite going to be 100% but since this one has excellent support from Rising in China I am find with it. It updates every day it scan every day and plus it there is additional scan for malware activity. What it can't detect it sends to Rising then in the new update or two the fix is there. It also as a feature like SpyBlaster.
