Any way to get rid of the annoying ad screen with AntiVir Free?

    About once per day I get this ad screen with a Puma shoe for upgrading to AntiVir Professional. Is there a setting somewhere to turn this off?

    Avira choose to offer you a free version ( with limited functionality). In return you get once a day an advert suggesting upgrade to full featured version

    I don't see any problem with that and if you don't like it, sinple answer don't use a free version. BUY THE FULL VERSION

    Some posts removed and a note on free software.

    "Free" software that contains Ads are not completely free. The company producing the software has a right and expectation that their Ads will be present in all copies of their software. It is generally accepted, (as well as often stated in license or usage information), that removing Ads from software is considered a form of hacking and is almost always a violation of the license or usage agreements.
