Remote Installer - Progressbar/Dialog

Hello,

Is it possible to show a dialogue or a progress bar, while the installer downloads the packages from ERAS? This could last some minutes, so the user think nothing happens and starts the RI again and again or thinking its not working

Replace the "/qn" command line parameter for the installer witih "/qb!" and it will still run unattended but show a small dialog with a progress bar.

 

These are only msi parameter (i use them), but before the msi install scripts stats, the eset remote installer downloads the msi package... while this time (some minutes) nothing happens, nothing is shown

Oh I see, you're talking about the window where EINSTALLER.EXE is downloading the package from ERAS. I misunderstood.

Unfortunately there is no way to make EINSTALLER.EXE display any kind of progress at this time.

 

would be nice if something (progress bar, dialogue) could be implemented
