    Hello,

    as I've said a couple of weeks ago the beta campaign will start in the next few days. Like always the old accounts will still be available and the testing kit will be a Total Security for 32 bits or 64 bits.

    The beta is scheduled to start next Thursday, but there could be some delays. Until then here's some small screens with the new interface:

    It's open beta so there's no worry about number of testers or getting "inside". :)

    Is there a release of the AntiVirus version of 2010, and if so, is there a download-link for it publically available? :)

    I don't think there will be any basic antivirus installation kit for the beta campaign as the ultimate goal is to get feedback and bug reports on all BitDefender's modules.

    Though you could disable all the "unnecessary" modules I doubt it would be the same experience you would like to have. :)

    Okay, thanks. :) Don't hesitate to notify me if they do release a beta version of the AntiVirus. ;)

    There is nothing new on the article link you posted that I haven't seen before, look at the second post in this thread. BitDefender beta 2010 download links and removal tools can be found here: http://download.lacaterinca.com/dow...er-2010-beta-kit-screenshots-and-information/

    @Kaworu:

    Looking at the screenshots from LaCaterinca, it seems that the original post was the one I linked (images are watermarked with Hardware Tricks). I beg to differ, but there's a lot more novelty there (for instance, I bet no one knew how the Advanced mode looks like, right?)

    The beta is free of any licensing hassle. 80 days for your satisfaction, no nag screen, no nothing. If you've already purchased a BitDefender product in the 2009 family, you may activate a similar product in the 2010 family. That is, licenses from the 2009 suites also work with BitDefender 2010.

    what i've been told from the BD forum (also chat) that your serial will upgrade untill it runs out,

    IE: it you bought a 5 year serial, you'll be able to upgrade to the newer version of your BD product for the 5 years
