MBAM warning !?!

    After recent scan with MBAM it found '' Disabled.checkExe Signatures '' in the registry. MalwareNet MBAM's own database has no info about it.
    Google throws up nothing so question to members is this malicious or not ?

    same here, i quantined it. can't find any info either and my antivirus does'nt see it as a threat. Seem to be a lot of false positives with mbam, but i quantined it just to be on safe side.

    just updated to database 1986, restored from quantine, ran a full scan no problems found, looks like a fp

    That sure hasn't been my experience with it. Just the opposite, in fact. Very few false positives. :)

    Don't forget to read the 'Pinned' message, 'Read before reporting a false positive!' prior to posting.
