msword scan at startup

Every time I open Microsoft word or word pad its scanned by NOD32 and hangs while being scanned, ok its just a few seconds but it getting annoying, its not scanning a document its every time I want to start using word or word pad, this doesn't happen with Excel or other apps so how do I stop this short of uninstalling NOD32 4.0.417.0

Disabling "Document Scanning" in the EAV client still shows msword 2003 being scanned.

Hello MichaelG,

This does not disable the MS Office executable. It disables the scanning of .doc .xls MS Office documents.

There could possibly be something else on your machine that is conflicting. It is possible to exclude the MS Office executable but we do not recommend this.

Updating Microsoft Office 2007 to SP-2 seems to have fixed the issue for me.
