Currently I have Avira Premium running on my machine and Windows Firewall and a Hardware firewall, I'm thinking of adding Threatfire, any good advice for a HIPS for Vista 64 bit? I might add Prevx paid, since I'm only using free right now.

I have Vista x64 and I use Prevx without any issues. It's lite and works, as well as the support staff is great.

PrevX is a good choice. Vista 64 bits architecture has some good security enhancements.

On my son's gaming box, I have only UAC with Norton's UAC tool. Vista Firewall control (also 764 bits ap), Avira and Windows Defender as advanced member (set daily scans off). Looks like a basic setup, but with Vista64 seems sufficient.

    Regards
