NOD32 4.0.424 freezes Windows Home Server with utorrent

Thought I would report this even though I reported it through the uninstall report dialog.

I use utorrent (latest version 1.8.3 beta) on my Windows Home Server and when it completed downloads with the latest version of NOD32 installed (4.0.424) it was freezing the whole computer up, no network access thru ultravnc, no access to the files from the network, no response when on the machine itself.

The only solution was a cold reset (i.e. holding the power button until powered off and then turning the computer back on).

The symptoms did not show themselves until I had installed NOD32. I am testing the same behaviour with NOD32 uninstalled to test.

If someone else could try to replicate this it would be great and hopefully solvable.

Don't worry if you do, I didn't lose any files, just patience ;)

    What OS/patches are you using.

lol...as I said WHS (Windows Home Server SP2). (Edited for clarification)

Well, it's definitely NOD32 to blame, torrents download fine now.

Spoke too soon, it just hung again. So I'll re-install NOD32, I disabled Intel Speedstep in the BIOS to see if that is the culprit.

Drive space should be fine as it reports that I've got 431GB out of 3TB free.

I'll post back if the Speedstep solves the problem.
