Business Edition difference?

Hello,
what is the difference between the business edition and the "normal" one?
I understand that a BE can act as a Mirror server.
Is that the only difference?
Can both be administered via ERAS?

I'm trying to figure out if we would need to deploy the BE version or if we could just use the normal one. We would run an ERAS server with the mirror on it. So no need for a client to act as mirror.

Does a BE license give you the right to run the normal version as well?

Business version has some additional benefits. Eset Remote Administrator is bundled with Business edition or with 5 or more Home edition products for free.

 

As of 3.0.684, both can be administered via the ERAS, and both can function as a mirror, as long as you import the 'license' file that is emailed when you purchase.. I haven't checked the 'regular' version of 4.x for the mirror ability, but it does have the ERAS connectivity option..

The Business Edition license will work with the regular version, however a regular 'consumer' version license won't allow for mirroring, as there is just a user/pass for updating, no 'license' file to import..

 

Another difference is, Home Edition licenses can only be purchased with up to 4 clients. 5 Clients or more is Business Edition.
