Today, out of the blue, I'm seeing this on my emails:

__________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4024 (20090421) __________

The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus.

part000.txt - decompression could not complete (possible reasons: insufficient free memory or disk space, or a problem with temp folders)
part001.htm - decompression could not complete (possible reasons: insufficient free memory or disk space, or a problem with temp folders)

    Running 4.0.424.0

    TIA

Either the temporary folder doesn't exist, you don't have permission to write into it or the disk is full (unlikely).

That's what I thought as well, so I checked before posting. No joy. This started today. As far as I know, nothing changed from last night when I shut down. I rebooted, I re-installed, then I gave up and turned the tags off.

What oper. system do you use? If Windows Vista, do you have UAC enabled?

Try deleting bot the user and system temporary folder and create it from scratch so that the appropriate permissions are created automatically.

    Hi Marcos

Could you expand on this reply for me? I'm seeing exactly the same messages attaching themselves to my emails. Running Vista HP 32bit and Nod32 4.0.424.0

First post from me. Sorry for jumping in feet first but tech support seemed to be at a bit of a loss when I spoke to them yesterday.

    Ta.
