Hi Comodo firewall is good until you try to uninstall - suggest you read the Comodo Forum under manual uninstall or comodo removal. As for me I had to reformat after giving up trying to remove locked registry keys etc ... good luck to you. I for one will stay with Eset SS version 3 untill all the bugs are rectified.

 

no problems, just use Your Uninstaller!, completely removes everything, no worries.

I suggest you look to your LEGACY KEYS - Local machine/system/control set 003/enum/root/legacy (for comodo)

 

Thanks, I'll check that. But to be honest, ESS also has registry issues so called MIRROR folder that does not exist. JV16 Power Tools reports this as severe error, Markos explained that this is due to Business version, which I never had installed, as I use Home version. Go figure.

Never had a problem uninstalling COMODO with its own uninstaller

 

What uninstaller?? just google comodo uninstaller

It's very rare to hear about uninstall issues. Sorry to post at this Eset thread by the way guys.

Windows -> Start -> Programs -> COMODO -> COMODO Internet Security -> Uninstall
that is the way a "normal" program is "normally" uninstalled
