I am considering trying Comodo Internet Security (CIS).

    1. What are your recommended installation options and changes to the configuration once it is installed (Optimum Protection)?

    2. If I were to recommend CIS to a PC novice, what would you recommend for the installation options and changes to the configuration once it is installed (Minimum or no pop-ups, etc.)?

    Thank you.

im gunn start off by saying dont install CIS or any other HIPS product for that matter on a novice, cuz even if u put it in learning mode and make it all quiet, issues can arise with new programs and a novice would not know how to trouble shoot it

if u want some sort of proactive protection go with some sort of BB for a novice, or just completely virtualize them if they dont install apps that often, i install and uninstall things way too often for that to work for me lol :D

There is your guide's to set CIS to its max.. :thumb: :thumb:

EDIT:: I agree it can be hard to use for people that know little about computers. However 3.9 is a bit more simple..
But the only way to find out is to let them try out.. Try it out yourself and judge for yourself if you think those PC novice's will be able to use it! since you know them better then us probably..
