What it wrong with it?

    I have installed ESS 3.0.672.0 in my PC. Its nice and faster than any other antivirus. But the problem is I can not find any option to scan after right clicking on folders/files.

    I hope this option exists but I am having some problem. Anybody knows where to activate or check the option for it?

    The setting exists, you just have to access the advanced setup options. Open the main window then press the F5 key. In the left hand pane, scroll down to and expand 'User interface' then select 'Context menu' then you can choose the options there.

    Thanks a lot.
    Would you recommend me to upgrade it to ESS 4.0.417 or it is having some issues?

    It has got a lot of issues.
    I would leave it for a while until you see plenty of posts here to say that the company has finally solved the problems that they appear to be very slow in solving.

    I wouldn't bother with v4 just yet....needs a little polishing up imo. However, some people have no problems at all with it so you could try. If it doesn't work out, you can just put v3 back on.

    Also, the latest build for v3 is 368 which is available on the ESET download page.

    I think I will have to agree with Silverfox55 on this one. Ver 4 has great potential but there are issue that no one is will to mention or respond too. I'm going back to version 3, I didn't have issues to deal with then.
