NOD32 Wont Install

    Ok, so when i try and install NOD 32 it wont, it gets up to the part where its Registering the Keys in the registry but it Wont and/or cant

    Pweeease Help, the Reason m installing if because, i have the Google redirect Virus so whenever i click a link in google it goes to go.google.com and then to a Fake Av site

    and its nnot just that one fail at entering a key it does it for ALL the keys

    I'd suggest checking permissions for the HKLM\Software\ESET key and making sure the current account has full access granted for the key. Also tick the appropriate checkbox in permission settings to replace permissions for all its subkeys.

    What permissions should it have, and yes i am admin

    System and Administrators should have full control, users should have read access. If the permissions at HKLM\Software\Eset look like that, click on the advanced button and from the next windows click the check box "Replace all existing inheritable permissions [blah blah blah]" and press okay to propogate those permissions down to all sub-keys.

    i checked the 2nd box in Regisrty and nothing, Any help Please would be Very Appreciated

    maybe to run some registry repair tools prior to installation commence? Do you have same problems with other NOD32 versions (v3)? Did you try that? Do you have home or business version?
