How to uninstall windows vista 32

Hi everybody, I installed vista ultimate 32 and 64 using DD 10. My question is how to delete or uninstall the 32 bit version and keep the 64 bit version. I was trying to delete the 32 bit version using DD 10 software but i Can't. the DD 10 stop responding for some reason. Can you help please. Thanks

Are both Vista installations booting from the same partition? If so, which one? Usually, it will be the first one installed.

Exactly how are you trying to "uninstall" Vista with DD? Normally, you'd just format or delete the partition to remove what's on it. However, if you do this with the partition that contains the booting files, Vista won't boot without being repaired.

 

I have both OS in same partition using DD. I want to delete 32 bit and keep 64. How do I do this? Thanks

The easiest way is to edit boot.ini file and remove string which indicate to Vista x32. Here is Microsoft KB article how to do it

You can’t delete second operating system by means of Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0, so you will have to remove all system folders of Vista x32 manually.
