    You can go to Zemana's website and get a full year for free under beta test. I believe it is the same product. I have two licenses from there.

    The version available from GAOTD is 1.7.2.960. is this a beta or the current stable version?

    Does anyone know one thing:
    Can I activate this product tomorrow, if GAOTD is over for this product? I've installed it but I don't want to restart computer soon...so I will be activating this product later. Is it possible?
    "You have to install it before the Giveaway offer for the software is over."
    Bit difficult to understand.
    Install=Installation and activation?

    Thanks in advise!

    Try this tomorrow;

    Don't use GAOTD setup.exe, download seput.exe from Zemana site,install and
    use GAOTD key.

    You are correct and just register as a beta tester and get the license.I knew about this some time back and have a license but not currently in use at this time. Zemana is a excellent program though.

    I tried it but my HIPS warned me it wanted to access HD directly, which I declined. Then it refused to activate. RIP. I don't like the programs that try to access my HD directly to store registration info ...

    I'll pass. Thanks anyway. :rolleyes: Not a Zemana fan here. I feel they are dishonest and overcharging people for an inferior product.

    i guess i can agree with the overprice, but id like to see ur proof of them being dishonest to their customers? and IMO ive NEVER noticed anything "inferior" about their product through my own use other than 1 bug that i had.

    You all are very welcome :)

    LagerX,

    Usually you have to install and activate the deal during the 24 hour period. There have been a few exceptions where you can get the license key separately.

    Just to clear this up, does Zemana actually encrypt keystrokes such as keyscrambler, or is it simply a sort of light hips? Should I be removing keyscrambler? (I kinda like the way it shows the strokes being encrypted)

    Not trying to start a flame war, just making an observation and a comment...

    The user ratings are split nearly 50-50 (366 :thumb: & 368 :thumbd: ) on this product. I find that surprising. Usually, in order for a program to be well-received here at Wilders, it is more generally accepted and applauded by the membership. It seems like way more than 50% of the people here have favorable opinions of Zemana. I don't know what to make of the 50-50 split. Like the old song goes, nobody's right if everybody's wrong. :cool:

    Those votes are not relevant.It's possible that you will encounter some bugs on xp while using the software.Some programs may not install ,runn correct even if you disable zemana protection.I have tried version 1.7.2.960

    Page42: If you read the comments you will realize most of those downratings are from users bashing the product for no x64 support. (I agree with them)

    bryanjoe: I believe it checks for updates

    So anyone know if it encrypts keystrokes? It's not very clear.
