    Good evening,
As you can see im fairly new to this forum. I've found quite some help when browing here but now I feel like I'm really stuck.

NOD32 3.0 worked pretty ok on my XP x64 machine and was rather surprised to see a new version this quick.

First I installed NOD32 4 right over my older version, rebooted, and noticed the system to show a blue screen for half a second before it restarted itself again and found myself stuck at the windows boot menu. The only way to get back in windows was by choosing the "Last known working configuration". After that, the NOD32-4 splash screen shows but is then telling the antivirus protection is disabled and I cannot get it enabled without reinstalling.

I've tried reinstalling, uninstalling and reinstalling, uninstalling, cleansweaping and reinstalling again and tried a fresh download in case the installer might have been corrupt.

So, this is me being stuck... any idea's?

I found some other posts mentioning the BSoD. Unfortunately there doesnt seem to be a solution known yet...

I'm getting the feeling it has something to do with the Windows Installer on my system. Shortly after reinstalling NOD32 (again) Im getting Windows Installer "Preparing to install"-spam.
Im also trying to keep my system clean from useless files and keep trying to get NOD32 isn't helping me do that.
I'd really appreciate some guidance because I havent had a single BSoD on my X64 XP until NOD-4 arrived.

*EDIT: Giving up on ESET for now. Ive tried every single "bypass" to get it running properly but it all ended up with the BSOD.
    Im done. Eset, you fail!
