This is exactly correct :) pxark.sys hasn't been a part of Edge for well over 3 months so I'm surprised you still have it.... you may want to uninstall completely and install 3.0.1.17 to ensure that all of the components are gone :)

Does this mean that you have now completed *Phase One* (for lack of a better expression) of the *Grand Plan* for Edge and that the next step now that you have achieved the required stability will be the start of *Phase Two* where additional capabilities and functions will be rolled out and integrated into what we have at the moment?
So, what sort of time scale are we looking at till the next beta cycle - weeks, months? I'm getting bored already :D

This is correct :) The next beta cycle will be starting in some weeks - we have a lot which we want to get in and quite a lot to do in the meantime :D

Of course, if/when we discover bugs/minor features to add, we'll push those out :) But you should expect a number of new technologies to be rolled out in the near future (I won't spoil the surprises just yet :D)

    Joe,

    Hope all is well.

False positive I believe. Where should I send the file?

    Congrats on the new release.

    Regards,
    Mark.

False positive fixed ;) It was a heuristic detection. Check if the file is still being blocked. If so, check detection override rules in your configuration :)

Checking - thank you. Also sending notice of another one...same method to send as prior. Should be there in a bit - just getting a scan log.

    Thanks,
    Mark.

well im looking at edge again, and im just curious about peoples experiences with it.

how light does ur system feel with it on compared to without it? performance is a big concern for me when installing apps and id like to know this, thx for any feedback. and by performance i mean CPU and RAM, as well as if u just get the general "sluggish" feel at all when using ur computer and having edge on, eg. delays when oppening apps, etc...

Prevx EDGE is VERY light. The executable itself is only 800 KB. Currently, the two processes of EDGE consumes a total of 3MB RAM and very little CPU time.

    Watching..waiting..
That's been a lotta 'beta' releases over the last few weeks guys :cautious:
    The never ending thread ;)
Congrats on the speed and seeming ease of fixes.
( the duck on the pond analogy holds here I suspect :D )

Could I make a small request re the granular control settings ala PX2 ??
Please, I like the idea of watching what is happening and configing same

CF; most recently, bloody Google updater trying to get an out connection: despite service being turned off and settings set to manual
    Uninstalled !!

Of course if you want automatic..go ahead..just for those who want the illusion of control :shifty:
PX2 was a great tool, heh, just wanted the other bits bolted on
    Regards

We are considering increasing the granularity of Edge in a non-default setting, but this would come further down the line but for the time being, we're still supporting P2 for the users that want the more granular reporting :)

Fixed (and your Vista SP2 RC1 should be running better now as well after you run a scan - we're still going through the OS but we've got most of it already :))
