2 Dr.Web bugs

The minor version number doesn't display properly. Yes its a cosmetic bug but it doesn't look very professional.

2. Try installing Dr.Web with the default options and quarantine something e.g. EICAR file.

 

You should report this to http://bugs.drweb.com or http://forum.drweb.com/

i just installed this antivirus and did not notice any bug.
but if there is any when can we expect to fix this issue?

I've used Dr.Web since 2007 and they've fixed and optimized the product numerous times since then. If there is a bug/problem, it will get fixed at some point. Contributing by reporting bugs directly to them wouldn't harm. If you notice something: report it and be precise so that they can reproduce the problem and fix it.

.. but ofcourse you must understand that minor bugs like cosmetic errors are probably not on top of the list.

I am too lazy to register somewhere else and they are in no way earth shattering bugs. Just annoying.

That is true. I hated it when Dr.Web changed the tray icon. The current one is not bad but the old one was best.
