maybe i could just claim a refund and buy from norton where the support does not ignore my emails.. it is my fault for entering it wrong but i shouldent be ignored like this and no word nothing ive sent my problem and the new email my credit card expiery date the copy paste right afte ri purchased the nod32 anti virus 100% information non working email and one i want the info sent to but nothing..
so far it seems like i have thrown 50 euros in the bin.

sorry if it seems like i am having a shout but i am more angry with myself for entering the email wrong and having to buy from cyprus/gr and be ignored.

i dont know if the money has been taken i dont know if the eset people are trying to email my non working emailw ith questions or information how to change the email but the email does not work at all. all emails come back failed if you try my isp disabled it for some unknown reason.

by tomorrow if i cant get it sorted i think i will see about a refund or going to the bank to see my options then just buy norton or another anti virus..

which i was always happy with nod32 100% virus free all the time and it never used any pc resources which is not a big problem now with 4GB or ram but it helps rather then norton that eats up all the resources of the pc slwoing it right down. such an amazing anti virus but being ignored from support even 3 days later when the site says reply no longer then 1 day and ive sent tones of emails to support
    http://www.eset.com/support/contact.php that one

    anw rant over..

ok so i got the username and password today for my anti virus and i notice on my anti virus it says "Virus Signature database could not be updated" Error downloading file from update server"

ok so i thought maybe there is a problem with username an/or password so i login to the download area of eset and i click to download and enter my details which seem to work fine i download the latest official release of nod32

so the username and password are fine but then that leaves the question why does it not let me download still? should i unistall the beta nod32 and put the official version that is not beta? thats the only reason i can think as to why it might not be letting me upgrade.. and also i had the same error message with the temp username and password you gave me i figured it was disabled..

    Thank you

As far as I remember, you have EAV 4 beta version installed. The beta version uses a special username and password as well as the update server to update. You can either uninstall the beta and install V3 using your username/password, or install the beta from scratch (ie. uninstall it and install it again).
