You mean the Ashampoo antivirus promo? I had taken a shot at it and if i remember correctly, i got 1 year license for free.

But it was kinda buggy and caused unusual slow downs.

If Ashampoo uses Avira then does it include web guard

If it doesn't, its kinda pointless cause it doesn't have AS, so I would rather use Antivir directly.

I came across this proggy, formerly CyberHawk, now Threatfire.

Should this go in the list? I looked at it, ran a scan and found no fault with the handling.

Ashampoo is a con.I uninstalled Avira premium to try.It says on the link Request for a FREE full version key without time limit for the program:
I got it and it expires after 3 months.I entered the key from the email and it said valid so it is a con

    Antidote PC SuperLite
This is like DrWeb Cureit however it only scans for infections. I read from an old thread here that it uses Kaspersky's signatures. The site seems dead now.

    Antidote Free Antivirus
This seems new. Has no RTP but removes threats. You need to register to get the installer and license key by e-mail.

My Free Antivirus by SmartPC Solutions (creators of 1-2-3 Spyware Free)
    Already discussed here.
