For Imperial's sake sir, please complete Magic Shield EQS 4.1 in complete english for us could you at least show some interest for us since we are 100% LOYAL TO THIS HIPS?

4.1 can make a Folder 'lang' and copy the 'en.zip' into.

configuration - Global - Other - language change to 'en'.

but have little couldn't change.



the EQS develop by only one developer.

and he develop EQS is for he's Interest.

that is why he couldn't update in time

On behalf of the very many Loyals to EQS developer's product i sincerely offer my sincere thanka to any efforts you can use to encourage him how very much we really appreciate his efforts and appeal to him to compile a translating version fully in english for us, then watch us heap plently of appreciation and thanks for going out way out of his way to bring this about in his honor.

Please pass on our sincere thanks to him. EQS is the #1 BEST HIPS ever made bar none.

He is done an outstanding effort in topping them all. Tell hin in his own native language for us so he can receive the thanks he so richly deserves.

I posted the first how to of EQS. It is a beauty!

But why bother, when you can get Malware Defender with a life time lisence plus excellent support for so little?

 

Only send money if they suggest it. I would be more than happy to do that as others, but what is the currency? WE are talking different means of commerce transfers here.

And this topic has nothing to do with MD, ONLY EQSECURE and/or MAGIC SHIELD, so please don't interject that. It would be the same as saying get COMODO not EQS, and this topic is strickly OT with only EQS i think the Mods would agree.

Ah come on please, this is not about a product, it is about a catch 20/20 situation

English language users are wining, because author considers over 1 billion potential users of hgher priority. Send some money in stead of a petition. Have you ever tried buying bread with a petition at the backery, or meat at the butcher?

There is another issue: not all literals can be embedded in a language xml file, so the author has to so some redesigning of the program. When redesigning he can not solve bugs or implement new functional wishes of Chinese users.

Please try to bridge the problem via Chinese speaking forum members: money an issue, manpower an issue, translation an issue (I can remember that one chinese forum member used to translate it for him, what happened?)

If 1 billion users were of such high priority, why bother translating 3.41 into perfect English in the first place? Was money less of a problem at the time? I don't think this is down to money or the technical difficulties of producing XML files in a different language. It is possible however that the developer has simply lost his translation resources.

I do agree that Chinese speaking forum members offer the only real hope in trying to persuade the developer to produce the English version that loyal EQS users desire.

thats good enough for me...IIRC it supports vista (the latest version).so as soon as its up in english im definately gonna re-try it

 

There are more chines speaking members, try to mobilise them, this is much more effective, also many hands make light (translation) work.

what worries me is that when they make EQS for windows 7 there may never be any English versions for windows 7.

So when we have to stop using XP which it will happen we will have to say goodbye to EQS.

 

you could probably install it with win 7 compatibility installer for XP.

Guess if money was really the issue, developer would have at least put a link for donations on the site, and cause there ain't one present it looks like he's not dying of hunger in queues @the bakery/butchery..

WTF? V3.41 GUI works seamlessly with both XMLs, and first iterations of V4 that I've tried were OK albeit not completely translated.

My only contact with the developer was that one-time attempt to bring the attention to ongoing petition for english translation - unfortunately no liasons besides that what so ever - but looks like Kees has "a secret connection" he's not revealing judging by his detailed info on current developer's problems
