#9709 still not available...

    ... for languages other than English :(.

    I also noticed, that not even #9646 is available for the Italian (newest: #9633) and the French (newest: #9621) version. Are customers of other languages simply screwed..?

    That's why i'm buying and using only the international english versions of TrueImage for years now.

    schade dass ich nicht im Dezember 2008 auf diese Idee gekommen bin!

    1. welche Bezugsquelle ist empfehlenswert?

    2. welcher Support ist dann zuständig?

    3. unterscheiden sich die ATIH-Softwaren?

    4. Sind Support besser und Bugs weniger??

    That's normal for Acronis. You have to pay for software that is buggy and don't get good support.
    I don't use trueimage anymore. ~Off topic comments removed.~

    German version still not released :(. However, the Italian and French #9646 version was released just a few days ago... it seems the localization for patches is lagging behind several months.

    Sorry, that is absolutely wrong! I signed up for month ago (incl. subscription) - but I have received until today nothing from Acronis :thumbd:.

    It is even unacceptable to wait weeks and month for new software releases in different languages. A lot of '… Home' - Users never buy software out of their native language.

    I agree 100% !!!

    The service here is like the product - I wonder how many customers will choose TIH 2010 :rolleyes:

    One tip to Acronis: If your software is buggy, try to fix it fast! Don't think, that all customers will buy your next version just for the reason of getting a better working product.

    I paid about $70 for TIH 2009, Try and decide is not working, Acronis support states weeks ago we should wait for #9709, questions when this version will be available are ignored and not answered or false answered as above... I never was so mad about one software and the "zero" support as today.

    Still waiting for the german release :(. Btw. I was wrong about the italian version, they are still stuck at #9633...
    Buying the german version was really not a good idea.

    Nun mal in deutsch, vielleicht wird es ja dann erhört.
    Gibt es einen triftigen Grund, den deutschen Nutzern zweifellos vorhandene Verbesserungen vorzuhalten, und wenn, welchen? TI2010 etwa? :thumbd:

    Finally an update that includes the fixes of the english #9709 build :). Let's hope we don't need the fixes of the english #9791 build (yet)...

    I have never received any notices of updates in nearly 2 years. Despite Dmitry asking me to reregister. It is a known issue mentioned many times before in these threads.

    Dmitry already knows this so I dont see why he has said this.

    Like many, I've been signed up several times over the years, always hoping for Acronis improvement, and as other shave reported, I don't think I've ever received a single message about updates. It's one of those problems that Acronis refuses to acknowledge, and even (as the presence of Dimitri's message shows) pretends doesn't exist, even though it has existed and been reported for years. Acronis behavior in this regard is paradigmatic incompetence, blatant neglience, or just unnecessarily pernicious sarcasm.

    I think I received one upgrade notice (long after it was released and I forget which version) and I've never received any update notices for new builds.

    I have always had the same email address registered with Acronis and I always get their other emails.

    While I don't know if it's a problem that affects anyone else, my main email address is also considered "invalid" by a major credit card company's email server/program. I can log into my account and update my email address and the server will send me two emails. One to my previous address (the same one) letting me know that someone changed the address and one to the new address (the same one) letting me know the change had be applied. However, when I later go into my account, it's again telling me that the email address on file is invalid. After many attempts to fix the problem, I gave up and changed the email address on file. It's worked since then.

    Perhaps Acronis is having similar problems with its email delivery setup.
