    I cannot uninstall Appguard.

When run uninstall from add/remmove programs, computer restarts.

Other software running Avira Premium, Super Antispyware, Fort Knox Firewall, Keyscrambler.

    Thanks for any help

Ok I killed AppGuardAgent.exe process with APT successfully.

When I close AppGuardGUI.exe process machine reboots instantly.

Will try in reverse order now...

    EDIT:

That worked but can't delete files.

Now it says services.msc / regedit is an invalid Win32 app.

    Will have to safe mode.

    EDIT 2:

"invalid Win32 app." error is because I terminated Appguard

I had uninstalled it with Revo Uninstaller in advanced mode last week. It did the job fine.

ok i am posting this on another pc now...

i deleted the blue ridge networks folder in program files.

Now PC fails to load XP at all (i.e. not even a black windows xp logo page).

    Seems really screwed up.

    Malware is easier to remove!

Security software should always be harder to remove than malware

May be the guys from Blue Ridge took this literately :D :D :D

Ok I System Restore in Safe Mode fixed it.

This uninstall though was inconvenient and time consuming (1 hour).

Just deleting the files in safe mode will stuff up your pc completely.

Obviously Appguard still has some bugs but any free app is nice in a day when lots of companies are discontinuing products.

Same here. Uninstalled and reinstalled without issue. I've also been copying, moving, deleting files from my usb hard drive and keys without any issues.

Yeah I always find Revo Uninstaller works a treat for stuff that's tricky to shift.:thumb:

    Hi Dmenace,

I am terribly sorry you had this difficult time uninstalling AppGuard. I've only just logged into Wilders to see this. Can Blue Ridge still be of some assistance to you, given where you appear to be at the moment?

Thanks Eirik, but I solved this problem myself.

I think it may have been some application conflict.

When I removed appguard my comp no longer freeze when insert usb.
