IronKey Secure Sessions does not use the public Tor network. They use a private onion routing network. They own the nodes and it's also very slow and not very reliable.

Steve would mind briefly explaining these terms, and any other relative terms that describe the techniques that Xerobank uses to increase anonymity?

    Channel Multiplexing

    Cascade Splitting

    Lag Obfuscation

steve i visited the xerobank forum to check out the usa server and nobody has been able to get it to work and it seems you posted one reply about you being able to get it to work but you nor anyone else has posted a reply in regards to the problem these guys are having.considering you are charging 35 dollars/month for this service and you are constantly stating how superior your product is than in my opinion you should be also taking better care of your clients.one guy stated he thought it was a personal certificate issue but noone has confirmed this.for other people who want to download the usa node there should be better instructions.not everyone is a genius like you and your team.some people need very self explanatory details about how to set something up and for 35 dollars a month they should not have to guess.

    Joey,

This isn't an official release of this node. I'm not concerned with it working on day negative 1. However, I'll need to speak with a couple of people if it is a certificate issue, as that isn't going to be in my area. It requires server reprogramming, which isn't instantaneous. So just relax on the prototyping. It's nearly here.

Here is how to get the U.S.A. server working.
Go here and download the key file

    https://support.xerobank.com/wiki/keyfiles.php

extract and get the usa sercurity certificate and the and the usa.opvn files that's all your going to need and then copy them into this directory.Remember your going to need you access account credentials!

    C:\Program Files\XeroBank\Data\config

restart xb vpn and you should be good to go

OK. The United States exit node is now officially released and fixed. All can download their keys or reinstall the xerobank installer. Enjoy!

But they should also realise when something is effectively "pre-production" and not expect any miracles until it is released "proper".

Often stuff that's leaked isn't the polished, final product. Remember that :)

Not trying to take up for Steve but he just made a mistake just as long as he doesn't keep repeating it I see no big deal personaly I'm glad it got fixed, guess next time Steve make sure its working before you put it up so people don't get mad about it not working.Next time he might not leak them out to us early.I read somewhere xerobank is adding 8 new ip's so guess thats the first new one I wonder where the other 7 are going to be at.

USA exit node works wonderful. It gets in from netherlands, if I get it right. Sweet!

I can't wait to see few other countries as exit nodes. When will this be? :)

As a costumer, THANKS Steve and Xerobank Team.

I wonder why so many people here have trust issues with xerobank.

Actually, that USA exit node has 16 IPs all on its own. Any votes on what you want the next country released to be?

They don't. Those are privacy.li stooges who created wilders accounts in order to create uncertainty and disinformation.

I would like either south america or asia... If I have to be more precise I would like either Brasil or something like Hong Kong/Taiwan. Since I am in Europe, these locations would allow me to go through 3 different "World Ares" (Europe, United States and SouthAmerica/Asia)

Steve, where do you think would be the best country to have an exit node? In other words, what is the most friendly country with respect to privacy?

Well this is just me but Ukraine would be a great place for a exit node for now but that could change, remember privacy laws are always changing one year from now everywhere that would or could be great places to setup exit nodes become not so good.Germany used to be a good place for anonymous servers but that has since changed. For now to me Ukraine would be great place for the next exit node. The good thing about xerobank is the fact its a multi hop system so really it don't matter where the exit node is at.I think in 10 years your going to have to use a system like xerobank just to be safe cause in 10 years most countries will have laws to require servers to keep logs. Then it will come down to being safe on the fact xerobank uses multi jurisdiction servers to keep your privacy safe.

My personal opinion is Switzerland or Russia, but those are just for show. If it was convenience, I would say UK. If it is to be different than everyone else, I would say Costa Rica. If cost was no object I would say Iceland and New Zealand.

Why would you choose an Island? Aren't connections to those all by sat-uplinks and thus guaranteed to be monitored?

Negative. Iceland has cables. Satellite won't make a difference though, as again, all our xerobank traffic is multiplexed. So echalon can listen away and still be sol, just like domestic surveillance in any other country.
